Yvo&Chrissy follows the story of two young people from England who give up wealth, property, stability and their given genders in their search for happiness. The film is directed by He Xiaopei, executive director of the Pink Space Sexuality Research Centre in Beijing. He is a rights advocate for people living with HIV/AIDS, sex workers, LGBT people and people with disabilities, and has made several short films on these issues.
这是一部寻找身份、人性、幸福的纪录片。世俗社会以财富、房产、稳定和出生性别来定义人生，而片中的主人公放弃这一切，重新寻找自己的身份和生活。这部片子跟随两位英国人——她们的生活促使“主流社会”思考金钱、家庭、稳定、性、性别和幸福的关系。
Q&A with Director Xiaopei He
导演何小培映后谈
He Xiaopei is executive director of the Pink Space Sexuality Research Center in Beijing, an NGO she co-founded in 2007 that provides a platform for minority groups, especially women and children to tell their stories. Prior to that, He gave up her job in the State Council to enter a master’s program in the UK on gender and development studies. She is a rights advocate for those living with HIV/AIDS, sex workers, those from the LGBT community, and the disabled. She’s also the director of several short films that shed light on these issues.
何小培是粉色空间性文化发展中心主任，制作过多部反映女性性别话题的深刻电影作品，包括《宠儿》。粉色空间是最早关注内地同妻问题的民间组织之一，旨在为性受压迫者创造条件，表达各种性欲望，交流各种性观点，并协助性受压迫者组建团体，提倡享受性愉悦，争取性权利；为女性艾滋病毒感染者，女性性工作者，男同志的妻子，女同女双性恋者，女变男变性者，残疾女性，单身母亲等提供支持与服务。
