这是一部关于成都某同志酒吧一些从事反串演出演员的纪录片。通常酒吧的演出是在每晚10：00，一台节目大约有一个半小时，包括小品、中国传统舞剧、现代流行歌舞等等。在这段时间里，他们有的在完成自己作为女人的梦想，有的为了生存，也有的想在这个圈子里找寻安慰与快乐。他们生活在夜晚，他们生活在灯光下……你时常会恍惚舞台上的是“他们”，还是“她们”；但无论怎样，舞台上的他们个个“人面桃花”。

A documentary about ‘fan chuan’(drag) performers at a bar in Chengdu. At 10 in the dark night, they are looking for comfort and joy, or the fulfillment of ‘being’ a woman. They are Beautiful Men on the stage under the shadows and out in the light.

杜海滨，中国独立影像代表人物。1972年生于陕西，在宝鸡和西安度过少年时代。他的第一部作品《窦豆》（1999年）拍摄了一个青年同乡在城市里漂泊不定的生活。此后杜海滨的创作显示出一种同时期其他作者不多见的连续性，他以几乎每年一部的速度，完成了多部纪录片的拍摄。其2007年纪录片《伞》入选威尼斯电影节地平线单元及荷兰阿姆斯特丹国际纪录片电影节，并获得法国真实电影节评委会特别奖；2009年，其创作的纪录片《1428》获得第66届威尼斯电影节地平线单元最佳纪录片奖。

DU Haibin is a leading independent filmmaker from China. Born in 1972 in Shaanxi, he spent his youth in Baoji and Xi’an. Du graduated from the Photography School of Beijing Film Academy in 2000. His first film Doudou (1999) documents the drifting life of a fellow young man from his hometown in a city. Beginning with this debut, DU has consistently worked at a level of stamina unusual for filmmakers of his generation by completing one documentary almost every year. His documentary Umbrella（2007）was shortlisted for the Orizzonti section at the 64th Venice International Film Festival and the Non Competition section at the 20th International Documentary Festival Amsterdam. It was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the Cinéma du réel. His film 1428 (2009) won the Best Documentary award in the Orizzonti section at the 66th Venice International Film Festival.
