为纪念世界电影诞生100周年，香港导演关锦鹏拍摄了纪录片《男生女相》（1996）。他由早年丧夫的孩提岁月开始，把个人的成长与观影经验连接在一起，并走访两岸三地导演、演员及幕后工作者，感性地以性别为话题，找寻个人及华语电影的本地身份。同时，导演因在本片中公开自己的同性恋取向，引起舆论不小的震动。他表示，“直到现在，我才慢慢体会身边人的感受，乃至可以通过《男生女相》毫不隐瞒展现自己的性向，去怀念父亲，甚至通过纪录片访问自己的母亲”。

Film director Stanley KWAN traces the evolution of his identity as a gay man through the films he grew up with, demonstrating that Chinese cinema (from Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China) has dealt with questions of gender and sexuality more frankly and more provocatively than any other national cinema.

导演介绍

关锦鹏，香港著名导演、制片人。1976年培正中学毕业后，考入香港浸会学院传理系。著名导演作品有《蓝宇》（2001）、《胭脂扣》（1987）、《愈快乐愈堕落》（1998）等。

Stanley KWAN was born on October 9, 1957 in Hong Kong as Jinpang GUAN. He is a director and producer, known for Lan Yu (2001), Rouge (1987) and Hold You Tight (1998).
