作为上海酷儿影展（SHQFF）的重要一环，上海酷儿影展短片竞赛单元现已开启。6月之前，炎夏未至，酷儿影人会为秋日上海那场短片盛宴着手准备。
短片竞赛聚焦“亚洲”。不论影人来自哪里，说哪种语言，都可前来参与竞赛，讲述发生在亚洲的LGBTQIA故事，提交关注亚洲LGBTQIA角色或文化的影片。
9月，上海酷儿影展开幕当天，将宣布6个奖项得主：2017年上海酷儿影展最佳影片、最佳导演、最佳摄影、最佳剪辑、最佳剧本、最佳演员。这将是一场亚洲酷儿影片的盛宴狂欢，我们期待影人和观众的前来，让我们听见你的声音，让所有人看见你们的态度和对亚洲酷儿的理解。
As one of the biggest dates on our calendar, from now on to this June，Shanghai Queer Film Festival Short Film Competition is now accepting submissions for 2017! This autumn, queer film folk will gather in Shanghai to celebrate the most exciting new voices in Asian Queer Cinema.
The theme for this year’s competition is ‘Asia’. We welcome any stories that deal with Asian LGBTQIA culture and narratives that explore the Asian LGBTQIA experience, regardless of the film’s language or country of origin.
On the Festival’s opening day in September, 6 winners in the following categories will be announced: Best Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Screenplay, Best Performance.
More than just a celebration of Asian Queer Cinema, we want this to be an opportunity where you, both filmmakers and audiences, can share with us your experiences, your thoughts and your attitudes.
